FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
1.  If I am Shomer Shabbat can I participate in this program?
Yes! This program observes Shabbat and we do not use transportation on Shabbat. All of our programming is Shabbat friendly.
 
2.  Do I need medical insurance? 
We strongly recommend that participants are in possession of comprehensive travel and medical insurance that covers them for out of country travel.  Please ensure that your medical insurance will cover you for international travel and if not please purchase secondary medical travel insurance.
 
3.  Can I pay by cheque?
Yes.
 
4.  Can I mail a copy of my passport?
We prefer you to scan and upload a copy of your passport in the online registration. In the event that you are not able to do this you can mail a color photocopy to us at:

5.  Can I extend my trip?
You can extend your stay and delay your return flight from Poland.  We will advise you of the cost once we confirm if there is space on the date you wish to return.
 
6.  Can I take a side trip during the program?
We can arrange a private side trip to a location within a few hours of Warsaw or Krakow.  There will be an additional cost to this service and it will require you to miss parts of the program.
 
7.  Can I arrange my own travel?
If you choose to make your own flight arrangements you will receive a credit of $1000.  It is your responsibility to meet the group at the airport upon their arrival or at one of their first stops.
 
8.  Can I use airline/travel points toward the group flight?
Airline or travel points cannot be used toward the group flight.  See above if you wish to make your own travel arrangements.
 
9.  Do I need cancellation insurance?
We strongly recommend that participants purchase comprehensive travel and medical insurance.  Please ensure that your comprehensive insurance plan will cover you for cancelation or trip interruption.
 
10.  What type of weather should I expect in October in Poland?
Weather in Poland in October is similar to the Northeastern United States.  Temperatures can range between 32 degrees and 42 degrees with a medium chance of rain. We recommend all participants dress in layers and bring clothing that will protect from rain.
 
11.  Is there a limit to the size and weight of my luggage?
Airlines allow participants to bring one piece of luggage weighing not more than 50 pounds and one piece of carry-on luggage weighing not more than 17.6 pounds and measuring 9 inches x 15 inches x 21 inches, plus a personal item.
